Wonderful
by Alison Hibbert on Sat Sep 18 21:48:06 +0000 2010

Uplands was wonderful, we had a fantastic game experience, with interesting walks for Jeremy and myself. The boys had a great time and really enjoyed the freedom of the garden as in game lodges there is usually a very limited area in which to play. Also, the lovely little touches such as beautifully embroidered bed linen for Charlotte and a mobile on the cot made it seem more like home. They have a wonderful set up there and you really feel people are happy to work there. I will recommend it to as many friends as possible.

Excellent

Uplands was excellent, in particular their willingness to accommodate twin 3 year olds was outstanding.

High Standards...
by Jane Sherwood on Mon Apr 26 21:30:34 +0000 2010

3 nights recommended to max out on fantastic, close at hand game viewing. We were very lucky to have a Xhosa ranger and tracker (Doc /Siza) who had lived in the area all their lives. Food expertly done (had a private lunch on our terace – bliss!) and ‘Sticks’ the Butler said ‘everything is possible’ and all the staff lived up to this high standard. South Africans we met were returning guests and rated Kwandwe very highly even compared to Kruger for small guest numbers and the ability to go off-road to get close to the animals.

Uplands...what can I say... perfect!
by Helen Long on Tue Aug 18 13:17:16 +0000 2009

We can’t wait to return! The game drives with Toast and Dennis were something else and we were extremely fortunate to see so many animals. The only downside was that 2 nights was not long enough! We would recommend 3 as the minimum.

Outstanding Honeymoon!
by Kerry McCracken on Tue May 26 16:40:51 +0000 2009

Outstanding accommodation and a beautiful setting. Really lovely, helpful staff and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed the game drives and our ranger Jeff made them even more fun by being so friendly and approachable!

Excellent safari experience
by Helen Hart on Sat May 09 05:42:52 +0000 2009

We were lucky enough to be on our own ina 4 × 4 with tracker and ranger. They made the whole thing really fun for the children and even cooked pancakes in the bush for them! We saw lions and most of the Big Five and much more. Excellent. (Hart Family, Easter 09)

Undoubtedly the highlight of the trip
by Abigail Shaw on Sun Mar 01 08:48:05 +0000 2009

Our suite was about the same size as our house in the UK … but we don’t have a plunge pool! Our ranger was excellent and the whole experience was truly memorable (Bowden family, Jan 09).
